another sean-made
Sean has made many lovely pieces of furniture for our house and I love it. What i love most is his ability to find a discarded item on the curb and transform it into something great and wonderful.
The week our baby was born, we holed up and pretended to know how to take care of him. Since i was a new Agoraphobe, (well, more than usual, i guess) and feeling particularly hermitious, i was ok being inside, but I noticed Sean getting antsy. I sent him on a mission to go outside find something cool and bring it back. He went for a walk and did just that.
What he found was a really nice wooden window blind thing with hinges that looked very similar to this:
But just two of them. They were really pretty and fancy pants. Good WORK, Sean. But what did he plan to do with them?
Well, he used his powers and magically transformed them into a radiator cover for the kitchen. The radiator gets quite warm, see, and we want to protect ourselves. He has thought about this for years. And now he found what he'd been looking for.
He added some wood and stain and shellac and a little bit of Sean fairy dust (<--uh.. that came out weird) and VOILA! Do we love it or do we love it?

Very cool.
How ignitable is that would?
I'm not sure any "would" is ignitable, and i don't really know what that means. :P
It doesn't get that hot. or maybe we'll just find out...
dang it...i typed that fast as I was getting paged for my next patient.
Wow! That is very impressive! Good work Sean.
Next time he gets antsy send him out to find me a nerdy but hot boyfriend. He seems extra, super-good at these missions, maybe he can succeed where I fail.
Rob, i love how you're all, "Ohhh i messed up because i was being PAGED.. by a PATIENT.. because i'm DOCTOR." nice.
I will inform him of his next mission, amberbop. and assign myself as well, for that matter. I do have an eye for nerdy but hot. ;)
Hi my name is Rob Scoresby, and I suck at spelling, or typing, or both. I have a problem, and the first step is admitting it.
Oh man, I completely forgot about this other blog. I've been waiting patiently to see/hear about your little one and it's been here all along. whoopsie.
